To celebrate the start of the New Year we are re-releasing a limited number of the 2013 vintage of our 7th Son, a unique blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Sagrantino, an Italian spin on a classic Rhone blend.

We released the very first 2012 vintage just two years ago, James Halliday rated it 96 points and it sold out in four months!

The 2013 7th Son is pretty, perfumed and floral with a bit of earth - that's the Grenache. The Shiraz gives richness and body whilst the dash of Sagrantino, an Italian variety that hails from Umbria, provides a wonderful tannin framework for the juicy mid-palate. Rated 95 points by James Halliday, who described it as "an elegant, high quality blend, the two major varieties playing off each other's strengths, with a full array of red and black fruits."

It is a wine that will reward 6-10 years of careful cellaring, so drink now, or savour it for a special occasion.
