Malbec fruit for the Jester is crushed immediately after delivery to the winery, and the skin and juice mix is then allowed to warm naturally over the coming days. Fermentation is kept cool in order to retain the primary fruit characters in the wine. Matured in older oak barrels for twelve months, the Jester Malbec is fragrant, lifted and aromatic, whilst being full flavoured, with a firm, powerful finish.
The Jester Malbec is a vibrant, juicy and full flavoured wine which displays a number of the characteristics that are unique to the varietal. It is also a wine that captures the soft, silky and seductive tannins which are a distinctive feature of Mitolo wines.
